My name is Justin Hartsell. I am a communications professional from Kingsport, Tennessee looking to relocate to the Washington D.C. metro area to further pursue my passions in public relations and public service.

 

I am currently working as the marketing director for a multi-million-dollar Chick-fil-A franchise location on the Tennessee/Virginia state line. My professional background also includes non-profit work and being a former healthcare clinician.

 

I fervently stay up-to-date on news and politics—not only for having a deep interest in them but also because I believe an informed and engaged citizen is a more effective professional and community member.

 

I am a life-long learner and welcome new opportunities, challenges and perspectives to move closer to the goal of helping the world become a kinder, fairer and more just place for all people. It is my belief that being in the diverse, inclusive and vibrant culture of D.C. will fulfill my desires to be in a thriving landscape professionally and personally.
